Mr. Roberts’ photography journey began at a young age when his tennis teacher handed him a camera one afternoon. Curious, he took it to a nearby park and started shooting. Months later, his teacher showed him a selection of those images and asked what he thought. Mr. Roberts said they looked like they were taken by a professional—then asked who had taken them. His teacher smiled and replied, “You did.” In that moment, a passion was ignited and a path was set.

He soon began working with clients throughout the Pittsburgh area, steadily building his portfolio. His breakthrough came when an executive noticed one of his photographs on a colleague’s desk and asked who had taken it. That conversation led to his first major commission with the Bell Telephone Company, marking the beginning of his professional career.

Mr. Roberts later relocated to Arizona after visiting a friend who encouraged him to make the move. Experiencing the palm trees, orange groves, and expansive desert scenery firsthand left a lasting impression. Inspired by the landscape and its distinct light, he chose to make Phoenix his home. His work continued to expand after connecting with PhoenixSoul, which led to a commission with Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. That opportunity helped establish his presence in Arizona, and he has since worked with organizations across the Valley, continuing to grow his creative impact.
